Jonathan Webb is a sound designer working across film, art and narrative audio.
His work is driven by an interest in the creative reuse of pre-existing and archival recordings, and the ways in which art, literature and cultural history can be imaginatively explored and interpreted through sound.
He collaborates with artists, producers, directors and storytellers, helping them to shape the sound of creative projects.
Services include: sound design and mixing, dialog and SFX editorial, audio restoration, archive research, and music supervision.
Jonathan formerly produced live events and exhibitions for and in partnership with Sonic Arts Network, Sound and Music and BBC Radio 3, and was one half of the music and sound design studio Golden Hum, where he worked with brands including Apple, Prada and Nike.
He graduated from Edinburgh College of Art’s MSc by Research Sound Design programme in 2017.
